Disc disease and disc hernia in lumbar spine comprises the biggest part of peripheral nerve diseases. Low back the pain, with irradiation along both legs due to osteophytes, narrowing of the interdiscal space, or prolapsed disc. Concomitant focal acute or chronic infections contribute to inflammatory component. In disc disease there can be a pain during coughing, sneezing, sensitive disturbances, often locomotors disturbances, weak or absent knee and Achilles reflexes.
