The disease is benignant enlargement of prostate. Usually the changes are after age 45 and lead to urine retention, frequent passing urine, trickle stream, pain during passing urine and other. As a result of urine disturbance and urine retention (retentio urinae) there can be complications of urinary tract, kidney stones, infection of the urinary tract, pyelonephritis and other. The sexual and reproductive functions of the patient are disrupted.
